About me:

When I was in middle school in Thailand, I was awful at math. There was even a time when my teacher literally threw my homework across the room because I got 5 out of 10. I did not think I would have been accepted into any college until I moved from Thailand to Oakland during my 10th grade year. I attended Oakland Unity High School where I had a new math teacher who was attentive to my needs, and never showed signs of being annoyed when I asked many questions. In her class, I received an A in math for the first time in my life and realized I wasn’t a lost cost. I believe that if I can overcome my initial issues with math, others can, too. At that point, my passion to help young people realize their potential began, and I went on to graduate from San Francisco State University with a BA in Math for Teaching and another BA in Chinese language.

As a dedicated educator with a specialization in math and international education, I am passionate about ensuring that all students have access to the highest quality education. Whether it's working with students in underserved communities or pursuing my master's degree in International Education Management, I am committed to making education accessible to all. If you’re looking for a math or international education specialist, I’d love to work with you to help achieve your goals.
